El Puerto de Liverpool's Responsible Sourcing program ensures ethical, responsible operation by both the company and its suppliers and business partners in the production chain. Its core purpose is to protect human rights, ensure that those who make the products we sell earn a living wage in dignified working conditions, that the environment is protected and no child labor is involved.
Our process is based on transparency and planning. We require our suppliers to disclose all of the factories they use and to undergo audits by authorized auditing houses. These audits, which can be scheduled or semi-scheduled, assess compliance with laws and standards according to internationally recognized protocols.
Audit results are ranked by criticality, and we work closely with our suppliers to address and resolve any findings and ensure continuous improvement.
