Health and Wellness
El Puerto de Liverpool makes the comprehensive wellbeing of all employees a priority. With this in mind, the Health and Wellness team focuses its strategies on promoting a culture of prevention and self-care. One of these is the "Creating a better me" program, which encourages employee advancement, productivity and work-life balance, incorporating four fundamental pillars:
Physical Health
- Health and Wellness Caravans: we promote a culture of self-care among employees through health activities for the population within their work centers, such as vaccination campaigns, clinical studies and wellness talks.
- Sports classes and active breaks: physical activity is encouraged as part of a healthy lifestyle with different types of exercise classes in the workplace and short breaks during the workday to perform stretching and calisthenics sequences to prevent ergonomic risks.
- Medical Emergencies: We provide training in First Aid, in partnership with the Red Cross, to employees at all locations, as well as training in the Emergency Medical Attention Protocol, with the goal of having a quick and efficient response to emergencies in our work centers.
- Electronic Medical Record: Safeguarding the medical data of El Puerto's employees in a secure manner, as well as being able to keep statistics on the main health conditions of our population.
Mental Health
- Mental Health Protocol: lists the steps to take in the event of a critical case of mental health or psychological emergency in the workplace that poses a risk to the life or safety of the individual, their coworkers and customers.
- Psychological counseling hotline: benefit for employees and their families where psychological counseling and specialized follow-up is provided in the form of a phone call, video call or face-to-face meeting.
- Mental health screening: allows us to identify the main mental health problems of our employees through a survey that identifies anxiety, depression, self-harm and suicidal thoughts.
- Awareness-raising for leaders and employees: Talks and activities that generate interest and awareness of mental health, reducing the associated stigma and providing tools that are easy to apply on a daily basis.
Financial Health
- Financial Health Program: Initiatives and resources to teach employees how to protect and value their assets.
- Talks by specialists: Talks and workshops given by experts in financial topics to provide guidance and education on the care of economic resources.
Social Sphere
- Corporate, sports and incorporation events: Activities that strengthen the company's culture and the sense of belonging among employees, fostering a healthy and satisfactory work environment. These include sports events, Children's Day celebrations and Christmas celebrations with BOLO.
