Emerging Risks and Risk Management

El Puerto de Liverpool presented its first progress report on the Comprehensive Risk Management Model (MIGR, by its Spanish acronym) for fiscal year 2025. As established in the project, this is a standardized system built on international best practices (ISO 31000) and centrally enabled through technology. This has made it possible to identify, assess, and monitor the business risks set forth in the annual report to the BMV on a cross-cutting basis, formally including ESG and climate change risks. Thanks to this model, in 2025 the first high-level report on the most significant risks for El Puerto de Liverpool was presented to the Board of Directors and the Integrity and Compliance Committee. Likewise, the Risk Policy has enabled the definition of an assessment methodology with quantitative and qualitative acceptance thresholds, strictly aligned with the business’s risk appetite and tolerance levels. By 2026, this model will enable us to monitor the robustness of appropriate risk management controls through the deployment of various action plans, including annual training and communication campaigns across key teams, to consolidate a culture of prevention within the company
