Volunteering

The people of El Puerto de Liverpool underscore the company’s social commitment by volunteering to the direct benefit of the communities in which we operate.

Our volunteer program is called "Dejando Huella" (Making a Mark), which is part of the social pillar that makes up our “Footprint” sustainability strategy.

The goal of this program is to facilitate the mobilization of the talent, time and energy embodied in El Puerto de Liverpool’s workforce to further the social development of the communities where we operate.

Our employees are actively involved in volunteering, focusing on four main areas:

• Education: We work to improve educational quality by intervening in teaching spaces, motivating both teachers and students.
• Environment: We promote environmental protection through reforestation, conservation of natural areas and beach cleanups.
• Diversity and Inclusion: We promote community-building activities and raise awareness of inclusion issues.
• Food: We participate in food distribution and conscious consumption projects for vulnerable communities in Mexico.

These activities are carried out mainly with foundations or civil society institutions that are linked to our donation program.
