Sustainable Packaging System

A fundamental component of our strategy is the Comprehensive Sustainable Packaging System, under which we offer packaging with certifications that attest to our responsible sourcing of materials, packaging reduction, efficient design, and guaranteed safety throughout the life cycle. In addition, we incorporate packaging and containers with recycled/recyclable/biodegradable attributes. These initiatives are applied across the board in all our businesses to promote sustainable and responsible practices such as:

• Dematerialization of packaging: Reduce the number of components in merchandise packaging in Liverpool.
• Consolidation of packaging: Recycle packaging and optimize the consolidation of shipment in distance sales packaging.
• Acquisition of certified boxes and shipping envelopes: Certify the material used in Liverpool and Suburbia packaging.
• Recovery and transformation of packaging: Recycle packaging waste from Liverpool and Recycle PET from bottles.
• Packaging and packing of own brands: Reduce components, redesign in a circular way and incorporate certifications in Liverpool's own-brand packaging.
• Bags with environmental certification.
• Replacement of plastic cups with compostable cups.
